It's depressing how even greed permeates the economics in an online game.
Is it human nature to want more than is necessary or do players practice it because the Internet allows them to be anonymous, saving them from being called an ass in real life?
On an unrelated but related note, I'd admit that I've bought virtual goods in the past. Maybe it's the lure of more power, or the promise of easier gameplay, but is it truly worth it? What if the game finally ends?
