Prepping for Crimbo

Yet I don't have the cash.

It's funny, really, when you think about it. Crimbo isn't about holidays and all that stuff anymore. Present society has molded most of us into materialistic bastards.

Once again, the opportunistic few have controlled living conditions in such a way that giving hurts much less than receiving. Ah, well.

Magus is Way Better

Currently playing the last chapter of Chrono Trigger DS.

So far, it is good for an early RPG. Its story is quite epic, but given the volume of games I've played, some parts are just too cliche. In my book, Final Fantasy 6 has an edge in the storytelling department.

Don't get me wrong though, I've played the game more than a decade too late. Had I the opportunity to play it during its time, it would probably top my book.

Anyhow, I hope more classics would be ported someday. I, for one, would love Squeenix a tad bit more if they release more Front Mission games.

DS battery's about to die, so back to school work.

Nostalgia? Not Really.

I'm still planning to buy Chrono Trigger for DS. It's quite pricey, but most people have the highest regard for the game.

I've played a short segment of the game a while back on emulator, and I was hooked. Too bad the emulator "died", and the game was put on the "games-to-play-when-given-the-chance" list.

And so here we are.
