The Death of Death

I'm probably four months late, but I finally watched Diary of the Dead.

I don't know if other people noticed, but I think that of all of Romero's films, this was just the second one that aimed to portray human nature through survival-horror-zombie-carnage (the first being Night of the Living Dead).

Frankly, Land of the Dead bored me and Dawn was a little meh. It was probably the difference in the way the story was presented that got me, though. And the fact that the cameraman didn't even bother to help his comrades when they were about to be pwned by zombies was hilarious.

Oh, and Samuel the Amish was probably the most badass zombie ZKer evar! Just effin' awesome.
